About Ronald Brien, MBA and Founder CMO

Ron Brien is an award-winning marketer, tech start-up advisor, and the founder of iCMO Consultants, which provides experienced interim marketing leadership to funded startups and high-growth tech companies.

Ron has led global sales strategies and marketing execution for high-growth technology companies from San Francisco to New York to London and Austin – often resulting in market leadership, exciting venture capital raises, acquisitions, and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

Some of Ron’s wins include:
• The Omniture IPO and eventual acquisition by ADOBE Marketing Cloud for $1.8 B.
• The RightNow Technologies IPO and acquisition by Oracle Service Cloud for $1.5B.

Ron’s favorite city is Manhattan, NY where Ron worked with several venture-backed start-ups to launch (and re-launch) early stage products, reposition them to penetrate large enterprises, and pivot their companies towards more attractive markets.

From his broad experience, Ron learned the formulas that successful high-tech companies apply to breakthrough and achieve extraordinary sales growth.
